4 Ways To Celebrate National Love Your Pet Day 2021!

Make your dog feel special this ‘Love Your Pet’ Day!

You’ll know as well as we do, dogs are family, so it only seems right that there’s an entire day dedicated to showing our love and appreciation for them!

While our pets love their routines to help keep them calm and balanced, it’s sometimes nice for everyone to do something different from the norm, especially when it’s a special occasion like Love Your Pet Day (it also offers up a chance to give them even more attention and cuddles than usual!)

Here are our top tips to make the day extra special…

1. Set up a play date

Our doggies love a bit of peer social time. For them, nothing beats running around playing with their like-minded furry friends. Setting up a playdate in a local park can be one way for them to get their daily exercise. If you’ve got a busy day or don’t know any dogs in your area, why not check out our dog walking service? We take out groups of up to four dogs at a time and offer hours of fun, adventures, interaction and games all led by our experienced franchise owners.

2. Donate to a pet charity

Share the love with those pets who aren’t lucky enough to have an owner like you (yet). You can donate your time, money or care supplies to a local shelter. Blankets, toys and food are always welcome to make their stay comfortable and ease the load on the charity. Check in with your chosen shelter to find out what they need most. They’ll be so grateful for your support.

3. A little glow up

We all feel better after spending some time relaxing and pampering, and your dog will be glowing after a little one-on-one time spent with you. Indulge in a little face or hair mask yourself while you bathe your pooch. Brush through their fur with a soft brush and combine with some relaxing tummy rubs and shoulder massage.

4. Ready, steady, BAKE
