Here at Digs for Dogs we are always happy to do our bit for charity, and what is a better cause to support than one that strives to improve the lives of our 4-legged friends?
On Sunday 27th September, at Witton Park in Blackburn, the RSPCA will be running the “Big Walkies” event. From 10am-3pm, you and your dog can go along and choose to take take part in a 2.5km or 5km walk to raise money for a great cause!
It costs just £10 to register your dog on the RSPCA website and a further £5 for any additional dogs and all money raised goes to the Lancashire East branch. What could be better than helping to raise money to improve the lives of dogs in your local area who may not be given the love and care that we would give to our own dogs?
Our very own, Seana Almond, who runs the Blackburn Home Boarding franchise, will be going along to this great event. So look out for her and her green van and feel free to go and chat to her and ask her any questions you have about Digs for Dogs.
Go along to the RSPCA website to find out further details and to book your dogs’ place for what is bound to be a fun day, spent raising money for a deserving cause amongst other dog-lovers and their furry friends!
