A stress free experience with Digs for Dogs

A stress free experience with Digs for Dogs

When I used to place my dog Max in kennels for holidays he found it a stressful experience and I worried a lot about leaving him. Then by chance I discovered Digs for Dogs and decided to give them a try. It was a completely different experience. Max exhibited no stress and went off in the Digs for Dogs van without any bother and came back a happy chappy. The whole experience of booking and leaving Max was for both of us a stress free and worry free experience. I recommend anyone in a similar situation to give it a try.
A fantastic and caring service from Mary at Digs for Dogs

A fantastic and caring service from Mary at Digs for Dogs

What a great service, I found out about Digs for Dogs by word of mouth and then reading about the service in a free magazine. It was so comforting to know that my dog would be looked after by a loving and vetted family in a way that she’s looked after at home. On her return she didn’t have any of the traits she had previously shown after kennels. A fantastic, caring service.
We can’t speak highly enough of Mary and Digs for Dogs

We can’t speak highly enough of Mary and Digs for Dogs

We can’t speak highly enough of Mary and Digs for Dogs. We have used the services of Digs for Dogs since getting our cockerpoo nearly 2 years ago. Initially we were anxious about leaving a young puppy but our fears were completely allayed when Mary housed him with a lovely family who have 2 young boys - similar to our family. The photos Mary sent whilst we were away reassured us that he was being well looked after and that he was getting plenty of cuddles. Thank you Mary and your team. We’ve already booked Oscar in for next summer!

Host Profiles...

Catherine & Kevin

Catherine & Kevin

Catherine and her partner Kevin live in an immaculate bungalow in a quiet area of Norden. Both lovers of dogs and the outdoors, they decided to combine their love of both and welcome visiting dogs into their lives to share their passion of walking.

Catherine is a maths tutor and is able to easily combine this with taking care of dogs in her own home. She owned dogs  throughout her childhood up until her University days and misses having dogs in her life. She frequently takes care of her mother’s dogs, a Cocker Spaniel and Jack Russell.

They have a large garden on 2 levels which is fully enclosed and immaculately kept providing lots of sniffing ground for their pooch visitors. When not in the garden, there are plenty of rural walks right on their doorstep…they really are spoiled for choice.

Your dogs will be given the warmest of welcomes with Catherine and Kevin.

Rosemary and Peter

Rosemary and Peter

Rosemary and Peter are an outgoing, travel loving couple who live in a beautiful and quiet area of Dobcross in Saddleworth. Their spacious well- kept home and garden is situated on a quiet road on an estate and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, providing a bountiful number of wonderful walks for your dog.

Peter and Rosemary have always owned dogs and have previously owned Collie’s as their family pet. After losing both their dogs, Rosemary and Peter miss the loving companionship of having a dog around the place. They are happy to welcome dogs of any shape and size into their home to share their day to day life and their love of the outdoors and walking.

Rosemary and Peter are a busy couple who love to travel the world whilst also managing their local Youth Brass Band. Whenever they are at home they would simply love to have a dog around. Your dog will have a very happy stay with this welcoming and friendly couple.

Moira

Moira

Moira lives with her husband Mike in an immaculate home in a lovely part of Norden, Rochdale. They are a lovely couple who are massive dog lovers, having owned 6 dogs previously, their last dog being a German Shepherd cross. They have owned rescue dogs in the past and are very experienced with a wide variety of dogs and all they have to offer.

Having lost their last dog only recently, Moira and Mike are very keen to continue enjoying the love, loyalty and companionship that having a dog come to stay can bring. They are also missing getting out on their walks in the surrounding countryside.

Your dog will be given the warmest of welcomes in this lovely home.
