At Digs for Dogs, we know from experience that traditional kennels can be a daunting and stressful place for many animals. We provide dog owners with the perfect alternative to kennels so you can be confident that your four-legged friend will receive the same amount of love and attention that they are used to at home.
With our dog home boarding service, we expertly match your dog with one of our loving pet sitters to give you complete peace of mind that your pet is cared for whilst you’re away.
Me and my Digs for Dogs business
I initially joined Digs for Dogs as a host family myself. It was perfect! My 8-year-old daughter and husband were increasingly talking about wanting a dog to add to our family, but as we’d lost a fur baby a number of years previous I wasn’t ready to replace her – but I also craved a dog about the house. Me and my husband loved seeing the joy that hosting brought to our daughter and being able to meet different dogs and look after them for short periods of time suited us perfectly.
Before finding Digs for Dogs I had been a Primary school teacher for 17 years. I loved helping and supporting children to achieve their potential. Over the years the job changed, so when I became very disenchanted with teaching I didn’t really know what my next step could be. I saw the opportunity with Digs for Dogs and after meeting the team I decided to ‘just go for it’ and take on the Warrington home boarding franchise.
I am very excited to be joining the Digs for Dogs team and starting a whole new career and chapter in life. Meeting different dogs each day will be a dream job. I am really looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members very soon!
