Where Digs for Dogs began...

Debbie Pomfret, awarded “Business Woman of the Year 2020” at MIBBA, first launched Digs for Dogs in Bury in April 2012 after working many years in a career of sales and marketing.

“A dog owner all my life, I understand how important it is to have peace of mind that your four-legged friend is being cared for when you’re not around.

To this day, demand for our professional, friendly and award winning service is still rocketing, and is the reason my business initially grew so rapidly.

In 2014 I realised that I had the business model and experience to help other dog-loving people find the change of career they were looking for. The very first Dog Walking franchise was sold that year, and I am extremely proud that Digs for Dogs has grown to now operate 35 franchises across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
