Carrie OwenYour local Digs for Dogs walkerI love dogs and being outdoors, and I want your dog to enjoy their time with me. I’ll get to know them properly and pay attention to how they’re getting on, from the first hello onwards.
I enjoy heading out along the Trans Pennine Trail and through Priory Woods. There is time for a good sniff, a bit of play and a walk with friends, with plenty of attention along the way.
I offer small group walks, one-to-one walks and puppy visits. On walks, there’s time to sniff, play and enjoy some company. I’ll get to know what your dog likes and keep an eye on how they’re getting on.

“Carrie is a wonderful dog walker and has always been very flexible to accommodate our changing schedule. Our Irish Setter - Audrey has so much fun on her group walks. Would recommend Digs for Dogs (Sale) to anyone in the area”
“Carrie, who walks Teddy for us, is absolutely lovely – so personable and Teddy adores her. She’s been incredibly accommodating and flexible whenever we’ve needed it, which we really appreciate. We always get great updates after walks, and Teddy has benefited so much from the group walks – he comes home happily exhausted every time!”
“Carrie walks my dog Mr Pickles once or twice a week, and he’s always super excited to see her and go out with his buddies! Carrie takes them all to a variety of locations, and they’re always well looked after. Following each walk we get about 5 small videos through of their antics which is great to see.”
“Carrie has been walking our 8 year old Cocker Spaniel Hattie since we moved to the area 2 years ago. Hattie, like most Cockers is quite an anxious dog, but loves going out with Carrie 2 or 3 times a week. We always get videos showing her wagging her tail so I think she’d agree with the 5 star rating”
“Carrie is an absolute superstar. We trust her explicitly with our Labrador and feel very lucky to have her walking our dog for the last 6+ years. She is very reliable and flexible to our needs. If you are looking for a dog walker you won't go wrong with Carrie.”
“Couldn’t be happier with her as our dog walker. She looks after my dog so well, is always reliable, and is happy to accommodate any requests. My dog absolutely loves her, and that says it all. Truly in the best hands.”
“I have no hesitation in recommending Carrie. She is thoroughly professional and cares a great deal about the dogs in her care. She helped us in the beginning when we had an assertive spaniel that we were worried to let off the lead and very quickly she helped us remedy the situation.”
“Our dog Poppy has been on walks and stay-overs with Carrie from Digs for Dogs for around 5 years now and absolutely adores her. Poppy was a very timid dog who wasn't comfortable with other people and some other dogs but time with Carrie and the other dogs she cares for really brought her out of her shell.”
