Digs for Dogs had a very soggy fun day at Heaton Park on Sunday 23rd July. Philippa, Emma, Andrea and Susan turned up with their green vans, gazebo, wellies, umbrellas and lots of prizes to help raise funds for this great cause.
Despite the rain the Dogs Trust Fun Day was a huge success and with the fabulous support of dog lovers a wonderful £8220.17 was raised for Dogs Trust in Denton. Multiple people signed up to sponsor one of the centres amazing dogs and there were countless children that took part in the crafts and games that helped to educate them to be responsible dog owners. The Dogs Trust would like to thank-you all for popping down and helping their poochy pals. All the money raised at events like this go towards giving recued dogs a second chance and helping them find their new forever home.
Digs for Dogs look forward to supporting the Dogs Trust Fun Day next year too. Thanks to the customers, host families and friends of Digs for Dogs who turned up on the day to say hello and support the event.
