Can You Change Your Life at 40?! Of Course You Can!
For the past sixteen years, Lisa Rose has worked as a Primary School Teacher trained in Special Educational Needs. As a mum and an animal-lover, Lisa has always wanted to run her own home-based, pet-oriented business and approaching the milestone of 40 seemed to be just the push she needed to pursue this ambition.
After buying her first ever motorbike and winning a gold medal in Taekwondo at the National Championships, Lisa made the big decision to diverge from the career path she had been following for so long and invest in a Digs for Dogs Pet Services franchise.
Lisa was initially introduced to Digs for Dogs along with husband, Shaun, and daughter, Lucy, as a home-boarding host family. They loved caring for lots of friendly dogs and had great fun providing them with a safe and secure family environment.
The support and encouragement from the Digs for Dogs team gave Lisa the confidence to quit her job and become her own boss. Lisa has taken a great leap of faith and invested into this successful franchise businessĀ model and is now looking forward to offering dog owners peace of mind for their dog/s as a great alternative to kennels in the Wigan area also covering Standish, Skelmersdale, Aspull, Hindley and surrounding areas.
