Professional & Reliable Dog Walking Services

We Care When You Can't Be There

Who We Are and What We Do

Digs for Dogs is an award-winning pet services business offering professional dog walking and a range of other pet services.

We know it can be difficult you to say goodbye to your furry friends, even for just a few hours. That’s why, since 2012, our customers have relied on us to look after their dogs whenever they can’t be there.

It is very important that your dog is exercised and mentally stimulated, in different environments, to meet their needs.

With a daily dog walking service you can trust we ensure your pooch is still having the best time, with a company who truly cares.

First off, we’ll meet up with you and find out about your dog’s individual needs so we can plan the perfect walking schedule.

Once we begin our routine, we’ll collect your dog from your home and transport them in our specially designed, air-conditioned van to one of our walking sites.

Our group walks last for approximately one hour, although when the sun is shining, we might take just a little bit longer!

Afterwards, we’ll take them home and settle them in, ensuring that they are warm and dry with plenty of water. We can even feed and medicate them on request.

Don't just take our word for it...

Claudia Smith - Walkden & Worsley

I’m Claudia and I operate the Digs for Dogs dog walking and pet services franchise in Worsley, Walkden, Farnworth and the surrounding areas.

I have always loved caring for animals – I have had all kinds of pets since the age of 9. I currently live with my dog Gizmo and my Rabbit Ashley and regularly care for my friends pets too! I can’t wait to share my love and experience with dogs, and you can rest assured that I will always give your pooch the same love, care and attention that you would do yourself.

I am looking forward to meeting you and your dogs very soon!

Abigail Roberts - Leigh, Atherton, Tyldesley

Hello, I’m Abigail and I own the Digs for Dogs dog walking and pet services franchise covering the Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley areas.

Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and as a dog owner myself, I know just what an integral part of the family they are! My dogs, Poppy and Milo, share my love for the outdoors – in all weathers, and my active lifestyle. We enjoy many adventures together.

I am fully trained and qualified in Canine First Aid, so I can assure you that your dogs will be in extremely safe hands with me. I am truly passionate about caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes and realise the importance of socialising, playing and exploring. I look forward to having some exciting adventures together soon!

Neal Houldsworth - Wilmslow & Alderley Edge

I love being outdoors in all weathers and being active. As a dog-dad I know what an integral part of the family dogs are, so rest assured your pet will be in extremely safe hands.

Every dog is an individual so I provide a variety of services to ensure your dog gets the care that they need. This could be a group dog walk with 3 or 4 dogs, giving them a chance to run around and get to know each other, perfect for socialising. Other dogs require the extra attention of a solo walk or a puppy visit for those little legs.

Whichever best suits your pooch, I will make sure they have plenty of exercise and plenty of fun and then I will return them warm, dry, and ready for a snooze.

Cate Aspinall - Wigan & Hindley

I live in Hindley Green with my husband Martin. I always had pets growing up and although we no longer have our own dog, I am hopeful this will change in the very near future. I am lucky enough to be able to share a gorgeous bouncy chocolate Labrador called Hugo who belongs to some really special friends.

I worked for Greater Manchester Police as a Traffic Support Officer for 15 years but I wanted a change. I have always loved animals, especially dogs and I love walking and being outside in the fresh air. When the opportunity came along to join Digs for Dogs it was a dream come true.

Peter & Louise Langham - Bramhall & Cheadle

We have been married for 6 years and live in Heald Green with our twins, Sophie & Grace, along with our 8 cats and 2 Newfoundlands – Hera & Hugo. We are huge animal lovers and have grown up with Labradors, Boxers and Collies so have plenty of experience with different breeds, sizes and personalities!

Our dog walking service will ensure your pet has the best possible experience on every single walk. We know how much your dog means to you, they are an important part of the family, so your dog’s welfare and happiness is always of the utmost importance to us.

Craig Morley - Tottington & Brandlesholme

I live in Bury with my wife Claire, our daughter Poppy and our very special Labrador Golden Retriever cross, Thea. I’ve always been a huge dog lover but when Claire developed a visual impairment, Thea came to us as her guide dog. She has proven to be an absolute lifeline for Claire and has become an invaluable member of our family.

When she is not working to help Claire, Thea is just like any other family pet and is a much-loved pampered pooch – and spoilt rotten. We couldn’t imagine life without her!

I spent over 20 years working in the wall and floor tile industry but as Claire’s sight deteriorated, I made the decision to spend more time closer to home helping around the house and caring for our daughter. The opportunity to join the Digs for Dogs team came along at just the right time, giving me the chance to be more hands-on at home while enjoying a healthy outdoor life doing something I love – walking dogs.

Sarah Jones - Middleton

As a dog owner myself, I know that for your dog to stay healthy and happy, a daily walk is essential. I understand how difficult it can be to find the right care for your precious pooch while you are working during the day.

I joined Digs for Dogs after spending 20 years in education, most recently as a Head Teacher, and had previously been a customer of Digs for Dogs to help me to take great care of my Newfoundlands.

This is where I learned first-hand what a great service the Digs for Dogs team provide and is something I continue to do myself in the Middleton area. To be able to spend my days being out in the fresh air, having lots of fun with dogs, is just the ideal job for me! I am really looking forward to meeting you and spending some precious time with your dogs very soon.

Best thing we ever did was getting in touch with Digs for Dogs!

"Our 20 month old German Shepard Max was such an anxious and over excited dog, we just couldn't take him out on daily walks as he would bark and pull constantly. Our dog walker Paula has transformed him into a much calmer dog and is now taking him out 5 days a week. He even sits waiting for her at the window - he can't wait to see her! Thank you so much Paula & Digs for Dogs"
