A huge warm welcome to Lisa-Rose, our newest Franchisee who will be operating her dog-homeboarding business in Wigan, Hindley, Aspull, Standish, Orrell and surrounding areas. 

 

Lisa, husband Shaun and daughter Lucy originally joined the Digs for Dogs team as a host family, after their dog of 15 years sadly passed away. They missed the companionship, cuddles and long walks but did not feel ready to commit to another dog full time. They chanced across a Digs for Dogs leaflet advertising for home-boarding hosts and thought this was the perfect solution for them.

Lisa enjoyed working with dogs and other dog-loving people and, after 16 years working as a primary school teacher, felt it was time for a complete career and lifestyle change.

Lisa-Rose says: ““After sixteen years of working as a Primary School Teacher, I felt it was time for a change of career and I have always wanted to run my own business. This really is my ideal job; to work with people who love and care for their dogs and to work with dogs themselves. Having worked with Digs for Dogs before as a home-boarding host, I felt confident in operating my own franchise business with their support. The reassurance and encouragement that I have had from the beginning and the proven business model of Digs for Dogs has given me the confidence to grab the opportunity with both hands. I am really looking forward to providing a great service to families in the Wigan area, allowing them to have relaxing, worry-free holidays knowing that their faithful friends are being cared for by like-minded people!”
