Hello!
I’m Tom, and I run a family-operated, professional and reliable dog walking service covering Ainsworth, Elton, Walshaw, Lowercroft and surrounding areas.
My aim is simple: to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is getting the fresh air, stimulation, and exercise they need to stay physically and mentally healthy. At Digs for Dogs, we believe in returning your dog happily tired, content, and ready for a well-earned nap.
Every service is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, whether that’s group walks, solo walks, home visits, or a pet taxi service. If your dog has any specific requirements, I’m always happy to accommodate, just let me know.
A Bit About Me
I live in Tottington with my wife and our cat, Merlin. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. That passion is what led me to do this work full-time.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience working with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m confident handling dogs with different personalities and needs.
Our Walks
I like to keep walks varied, stimulating, and enjoyable for both the dogs and myself. We regularly explore local routes including Elton Reservoir, Burrs Country Park, the Kirklees Trail, and Dow Lane Park, along with many other safe and scenic walking areas.
These environments give dogs the chance to explore, socialise, and burn off energy in a safe and structured way.
My Approach
I understand how important it is for your dog to have consistent, reliable care, especially during busy working days.
I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and preferences so I can provide the right kind of exercise and attention. Some dogs thrive in group walks, enjoying the company of others, while others benefit more from calm, focused solo walks.
Whichever suits your dog best, they’ll receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, and care. I’ll always make sure they return home comfortable, settled, and ready to relax.
