Debbie first launched Digs for Dogs in 2012, which started as a family run Dog Walking and Home Boarding business in Bury, Lancashire. With her love for animals and passion for business, Debbie’s aim is to provide the perfect alternative to boarding kennels offering one to one happy holiday homes for dogs and a dog walking service that people can trust.
A dog lover all her life, Debbie totally understands how important it is to have reassurance and peace of mind that your four-legged friend is being cared for if you’re not around and stands by our company slogan “We care when you can’t be there”.
She knows first-hand how enjoyable and rewarding it is to work together with family and see the younger generation turn their passion for dogs into a fulfilling career!
Rick has supported Digs for Dogs from the very beginning. He has over 30 years’ experience in management and accounts and in 2017 he took semi-retirement to become more involved with the business. When he’s not out walking the family dogs, Jaffa and Rigby, he provides full administrative support to assist franchisees with any invoices, bookkeeping and accounts.
As Digs for Dogs is such a close-knit community of dog lovers, when it comes to looking after each other, our franchisees are not just business partners but friends. Rick and the family love to organise events in their community and get involved with raising sponsorship and donations for local charities and animal sanctuaries.
Oliver manages all things marketing and digital. He runs the advertising campaigns and marketing projects to help build and promote the Digs for Dogs brand. He provides effective social media campaigns and maintains google rankings to support the development of all franchisees’ businesses in their local areas.
Oliver is there to provide technical support and advice, he will help resolve any IT queries and correct issues quickly and effectively. As Digs for Dogs continues to grow, we are always looking to the future, continually reinvesting into our infrastructure.
Georgie’s background is in customer services, business development and sales. Her energy and passion instantly welcomes you to the Digs for Dogs family and her extensive knowledge and experience helps the development of all franchisees’ businesses.
The development of our franchisees and employees, who we also regard as family, is paramount and the health and safety of our team and the welfare of our dogs is always at the forefront of our minds. Georgie is there to support the franchise network in their day to day operations and ensure complete customer satisfaction – we are truly proud of the professionalism, care and unbeatable service we provide to our customers!
Keith has over 20 years’ experience of being Finance Director in numerous business sectors and sizes of companies, ranging from start-ups to large UK nationals and leading global brand names, such as Allsports and Virgin.
A number of our franchisees have come through personal recommendation, or already had some initial involvement with the company, either as an existing customer or as a home boarding family. Keith was originally a customer of Digs for Dogs and has now become mentor, advisor and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and bags of enthusiasm to the business.
