Our family is completed by Ruby, our big bouncy Golden Retriever, who is also known as the Lancaster “Golden Girl” in the Kennel Club.
My Digs for Dogs business
I’m a Maltese national but have lived here in the UK for many years, practising as a qualified accountant for much of my working life.
I felt ready for a complete career and lifestyle change; my life-long passion for dogs, love of the outdoors and desire to run my own business in Bamber Bridge meant the Digs for Dogs Franchise was the perfect opportunity for me.
My home boarding team
As a dog owner myself, I understand how difficult it can be to find the right care for your precious pooch while you are away.
Digs for Dogs is a great alternative to kennels and the dogs are always truly loved and cared for. I have a fantastic team of carefully chosen loving home boarding families who provide a one to one home from home environment.
I do everything I can to find out about your dog’s individual needs to ensure I match them with the perfect host family for them – and I can guarantee that your dog will be spoilt rotten!
We’re always on the lookout for people to become a home boarder and provide a loving home to one of our dogs in Bamber Bridge, Lostock Hall, Hoghton, Higher Walton, Longton, Salmesbury and the surrounding areas.

Kevin and the service he provides is brilliant! He has a keen attention to detail and care, from the first consultation appointment through to personally bringing our dog Arthur home from his great Digs for Dogs holiday home! While we were away, Kevin sent a personal message and photograph of Arthur each day this was both a comfort and a source of joy and entertainment for the whole family! We were so pleased, we’ve just booked Arthur’s second holiday with Kevin and Digs for Dogs! Thank you Kevin
We’ve had Ted, our boisterous Cockerpoo at several kennels since we got him in September 2016 but was not happy with him coming back ill, wet and rather dirty, We found Kevin after a recommendation about home boarding for dogs. First time we were quite nervous, but after a consultation with the ever friendly Kevin, a prompt pick up and constant WhatsApp photos and stories of his adventures we have been left to enjoy our holiday, even in the face of adversity when Ted chewed through a lead one trip, this was no problem for Kevin who sorted the emergency out without a single word until we got back and was more worried we’d be upset about the lead, this was no problem as this is just a daily Ted trick for us. Ted returns a happy boy these days and I can’t put a price on this, no more dirty farms or sick Ted anymore as Kevin is welcome to him every time now, Many Thanks
I would not hesitate one bit to recommend Kevin to anyone. From our initial and very thorough consultation, we had confidence that our dog Roxy would be in good hands. Our dog is now 10 years old and, until this year, has only ever been looked after by friends or our eldest daughter. As this is no longer a viable option we had to seek an alternative and we couldn’t have picked a better service! Roxy absolutely loves going with Kevin, and gets so excited when she sees him coming up our driveway. She has a great time and the photos Kevin sends through show her looking really happy and relaxed. We could not have considered kennels for Roxy, she is far too anxious and would be thoroughly miserable and stressed in those sort of conditions. She’s always full of beans when she gets home and very content. A big 10/10 for Kevin’s 5* stress-free service from us and a big Woof and loads of wags from Roxy!

Lorraine and Andrew live in Preston, in their beautiful house which has a lovely and spacious secure garden. Lorraine is a teaching assistant while Andrew is an IT trainer. They are both very calm and patient. One of their favourite pastimes is to walk and explore the countryside. They are avid animal lovers and have had a variety of pets.
