Hello! I’m Stephen, I operate our award-winning dog home boarding service in Hebden Bridge & the surrounding areas
At Digs for Dogs, we know from experience that when you go away you want to be confident that your dog is relaxed, and receiving the same amount of love and attention that they are used to at home.
Dog home boarding in Hebden Bridge
At Digs for Dogs, we believe your dog should have the best time on their holiday too! We have built a network of carefully chosen, loving home boarding families across the Upper Calder Valley who provide the perfect alternative to kennels. Whilst you are away, your dog will receive the love and attention they deserve, with their regular food, favourite toys and normal routines.
We always come to meet you and your pup first, so we can understand their personality, routines and specific requirements. Before their holiday, your carefully chosen home boarding family will receive a detailed pet profile, so you can be confident that your dog will enjoy a happy holiday stay with lots of exercise, home comforts – and of course lots of cuddles!
When it’s time for you to go away, we will chauffer your dog from your house to their holiday home in our fully air conditioned, dog friendly and insured vehicle. Make sure you pack blankets, familiar toys, food, and their favourite treats in their suitcase! We keep you updated during your holiday, send pictures and let you know how your dog is settling in, allowing you to completely relax.
All Digs for Dogs home boarders do what they do simply because they love dogs. They are each insured, licenced, vetted and inspected by local councils.
About Steven
Hi, I’m Steven, and I’m here to provide top-notch care for your furry family members. I live in Littleborough with my partner and my twins. I have a lifelong love for dogs. Growing up with them, working at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary for nine years, and managing a boarding kennels and cattery, I’ve developed a deep understanding of our canine companions.
I hold a degree in Animal Behaviour and an NVQ2 in Animal Husbandry, and I’ve been trained in animal first aid. My journey with Digs for Dogs began when I saw the positive impact of their home-based care for dogs. I believe that a calm, comfortable environment is essential for dogs when their families can’t be with them.
My goal is to create a safe and enjoyable experience for your dogs, offering them a home away from home whilst you are away.
