I’ve worked in education all my life, having been headteacher of three primary schools and Deputy Director of Education in the Diocese of Salford, but have now taken early retirement to focus on the other great love of my life – dogs!

I’ve had rescue dogs from an early age, mostly but not exclusively German Shepherds, and am involved with several rescue dog charities. Friends and relations have always trusted me to look after their fur-babies, and I can honestly say that I could not imagine life without them. In fact, I’m so passionate about dogs that I’ve now converted my new husband, who had never owned a dog in his life before he met me but is now a dog fanatic – like me! I am Canine First Aid trained and am looking forward to starting my canine behaviour therapy course, alongside by Digs for Dogs dog walking & pet services business in Milnrow and the surrounding areas.

As a dog owner myself, I know that for your dog to stay healthy and happy, a daily walk is essential. I understand how difficult it can be to find the right care for your precious pooch while you are working during the day.

I offer regular or ad hoc walks to local parks and country trails including Greenhead Park, Denshaw Valley, Castleshaw, Dovestone Reservoir and other local countryside
