They become a part of another dog-loving family for the time you are away, giving you peace of mind and reassurance that your dog has settled in. You know they are getting all the love and attention they are used to, and plenty of walks with someone who genuinely wants to care for your pet.
We were originally going to use normal boarding kennels but decided late in the day that our Beagle puppy would probably fret and wouldn’t settle well at all. We had heard of Digs for Dogs home-boarding from a neighbour who had used them and decided to try their recommendation.
Despite being such short notice, they managed to find us a suitable home within a few days, continually updating us of their progress. Debbie, at the Head Office in Tottington, and Lisa, the franchisee who covers our area in Wigan, were excellent. They listened to our needs and spent time finding out everything they needed to know about Sally.
Sally was placed with Pauline, a lovely lady who had a great time looking after her for 2 weeks and was sorry to see her leave at the end. They got on really well together. We received regular updates and pictures by text, reassuring us that Sally was having a good time. We will be booking in plenty of time for our next holiday to ensure that Sally goes back to Pauline’s.
